Curtis Jones will be reflecting on his unfortunate injury luck.
The Liverpool midfielder had to leave the field just 30 minutes into the Reds’ pre-season game against Real Betis due to an injury.
Paul Gorst reported on X (formerly Twitter) that Jones was seen in ‘some discomfort’ during a team water break.
Hoping it’s not a serious injury for Jones

It’s a significant setback for the Liverpool Academy graduate, especially when he’s trying to prove himself to new head coach Arne Slot.
Fortunately, he was able to walk off with minimal assistance, so hopefully, it’s not a major issue.
With the high-quality addition of Alexis Mac Allister in the midfield, Jones faces a tough challenge to secure a spot in the starting XI.
We believe in his talent, but he needs to be on the pitch to demonstrate it.
