Liverpool Make €100M+ Bid for Florian Wirtz as German Star Eyes Premier League Move
Liverpool have officially submitted their first offer to Bayer Leverkusen for German international Florian Wirtz, with Fabrizio Romano reporting the bid exceeds €100 million including bonuses.
Wirtz has reportedly informed Leverkusen of his desire to join Liverpool, although negotiations between the clubs are still ongoing. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder had also been strongly linked with Bayern Munich.
Elite Prospect with World-Class Potential
Wirtz has been a standout performer in the Bundesliga, racking up 16 goals and 15 assists this season. Liverpool see him as a major addition to their attacking lineup, bringing creativity, versatility, and goal-scoring prowess. His ability to play in multiple attacking roles adds further value to the proposed move.
If the deal is finalized, Wirtz would become Liverpool’s most expensive signing to date. While adjusting to Premier League football can be a challenge, his technical skillset suggests he has what it takes to thrive in England.
Playing alongside established stars like Mohamed Salah is expected to further elevate his game. Liverpool are reportedly keen to finalize the transfer swiftly before focusing on additional reinforcements.
