Liverpool Step Up Pursuit of Florian Wirtz with Third Bid in the Works
Liverpool are pushing to sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen this summer, with two previous bids already rejected by the German club.
According to German outlet Kicker (via The Mirror), the Reds are now preparing a third, improved offer for the 22-year-old midfielder.
The report suggests Liverpool may include Harvey Elliott or Jarell Quansah in the deal to tempt Leverkusen, who are said to hold both players in high regard.
Wirtz has reportedly already turned down a move to Bayern Munich, making clear his preference to join Liverpool.

The Bundesliga champions have set a £126 million valuation for their prized midfielder. Despite the hefty fee, Liverpool remain determined to land Wirtz, who has been one of Europe’s standout performers over the last two seasons.
He was named Bundesliga Player of the Season in back-to-back campaigns and racked up 31 goal contributions in the most recent one.
