Alexander Isak caught up in fiery confrontation just minutes into his comeback appearance

Liverpool completed the signing of Alexander Isak from Newcastle United on deadline day, and the striker is now eager to return to regular football.

Isak skipped Newcastle’s pre-season and refused to feature in their opening Premier League matches as he pushed for a move to Anfield. After forcing through the transfer, the Swedish forward is finally back on the pitch.

He recently appeared for Sweden against Kosovo, coming on as a late substitute after sitting out the previous game against Slovenia. Though he didn’t score, he impressed with his sharpness despite not playing all season.

However, his return wasn’t without drama—he clashed heatedly with Kosovo defender Fidan Aliti, even grabbing his shirt during the exchange.

Liverpool now face the task of getting their record-signing up to full speed, with hopes that he will provide the cutting edge they lacked last season. With Darwin Núñez struggling as the main striker, the arrivals of both Hugo Ekitike and Isak promise a new-look attack.

Ekitike has already made an impact, scoring three goals across competitions, and Liverpool are confident Isak will soon follow suit, potentially transforming their frontline into one of the Premier League’s most dangerous.
