Following Michael Beale’s recent firing at Ibrox, some well-known candidates, like former Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch, have been mentioned in connection with the opening.
But now, journalist Luke Edwards has made the claim that he might be familiar with Lampard’s interest in the position.
“Rangers have that gravitational pull. Steven Gerrard undoubtedly went there. In a BBC Sport podcast, Edwards stated, “I’m sure Frank Lampard would like it.
Even if Frank Lampard doesn’t precisely excel at any of his positions, he has a great agent and is frequently mentioned in connection with openings.
Lampard’s most recent position was as Chelsea’s interim manager, and during that time, the team had a very poor record.
