Atalanta have made it clear to Liverpool that they will not sell Ademola Lookman or any of their key players during the January transfer window.
According to *football-italia.net*, Liverpool had expressed interest in Lookman, but the Italian club has already rejected their approach for the 27-year-old forward.
Lookman, who was recently named the Best African Player of 2024, has been a standout performer for Atalanta this season, scoring 11 goals and providing five assists in 19 appearances across all competitions.
His contributions have been pivotal to Atalanta’s success, including last season’s Europa League triumph, where he scored a hat-trick in the final against Bayer Leverkusen.
Currently leading Serie A after 10 consecutive victories, Atalanta are determined to retain their star players as they push for further glory. Lookman, who was previously linked with PSG last summer, remains under contract in Bergamo until 2026.
Meanwhile, Manchester City has shown interest in another Atalanta standout, Ederson, but the club plans to keep the Brazilian until at least the end of the season.
