Jurgen Klopp stated that there’s no lingering issue with Mohamed Salah after the two had a discussion in the dressing room following Liverpool’s draw with West Ham.
During the match, Salah appeared to have a disagreement with Klopp on the touchline amid celebrations for Michail Antonio’s goal at the London Stadium.
Salah, who was set to substitute in along with Darwin Nunez and Joe Gomez, seemed displeased with a message from Klopp before Nunez intervened to calm the situation.
After the final whistle, Salah was seen walking briskly down the tunnel. Klopp addressed the incident in an interview with TNT Sport, stating that they had already discussed it in the dressing room and considered the matter resolved.
When asked about the incident in the post-match press conference, Klopp reiterated that they had addressed it internally and considered the matter closed.
Despite conceding the first goal once again, Liverpool managed to equalize through Andy Robertson before an own goal from goalkeeper Alphonse Areola put them ahead.
However, Antonio’s header secured a point for West Ham, leaving Liverpool two points behind Arsenal in the standings.
