Liverpool’s search for new signings has yet to yield results, but it seems the club is close to parting ways with another player.
Bobby Clark is reportedly set to leave Anfield, with Red Bull Salzburg agreeing to a deal worth €11.65 million (£10 million) for the 19-year-old.
After Salzburg had two previous bids rejected, their third offer finally met Liverpool’s requirements.
The deal includes a sell-on clause and gives Liverpool the right of first refusal if Salzburg decides to sell Clark in the future.
Football insider Fabrizio Romano confirmed the transfer, noting on social media that the young midfielder is set to join Pep Lijnders’ side at Salzburg.
The move is expected to be finalized soon, with personal terms likely just a formality at this stage.
As the transfer window nears its close, Liverpool fans are still awaiting news of new signings, but it seems the club is currently more focused on negotiating player departures.
