The fourth-tier French team Bourges Foot 18 has been acquired by Senegalese and Al-Nassr striker Sadio Mané.
The former Liverpool star is claimed to have been wanting to invest in a football team for a while, and according to ESPN, his acquaintance with the former president of Bourges Foot 18 Cheikh Sylla reportedly encouraged his decision to invest in the French squad.

Mané is said to have provided the squad some cash to aid in the acquisition of players during the summer transfer window, but Wednesday’s announcement formally designates him as the team’s new owner, a move that has previously been approved by the city’s mayor, Yann Galut.
Located in the center of Paris, Bourges Foot 18 is a French football team that competes in the Championnat National, Group B, the country’s fourth league.
The club is currently in second place in Group B of the competition after just winning one game this season. They have never placed higher than the second tier in France.
Considering the club was only founded in 2021, Mane intends to guide them on an amazing adventure in the years to come.
