Jurgen Klopp explains what he loves most about Mohamed Salah after Everton as Liverpool injury update given

In their Merseyside derby triumph against Everton, Jurgen Klopp has verified that Liverpool did not sustain any further injuries. He has also shared his favorite thing about match-winner Mohamed Salah.

After dislocating his shoulder while on international duty, Andy Robertson was added to the team’s injury list midweek. It has subsequently been announced that Robertson will be out for three months. Long-term injuries have kept Stefan Bajcetic and Thiago Alcantara out of action, while Cody Gakpo was not risked against the Blues even though he had returned to team practice in the middle of the week after suffering a knee injury.

Liverpool momentarily took the lead in the Premier League table and resumed their winning ways with their victory over Everton. This came after a contentious loss to Tottenham Hotspur and a 2-2 draw at Brighton prior to the international break. And while Klopp was happy with the win, he was already thinking ahead to Thursday’s Europa League match against Toulouse.

The Reds manager stated, “I like to respond on things but you need to have a reason to respond.” “You ought to be able to recall the question you need to answer. And in the two weeks following Brighton, players were everywhere. That is nonsensical.

“I’m delighted we won the game, not that I’m back on track or anything. Yes, we wanted twenty points, and that’s what we now have. That is very fantastic.

“And this Thursday, there’s another tournament that’s really significant. One more game at home. Excellent, let’s move on from there. That’s the way it is. From where the boys are coming from, I think the performance was excellent.

“I thought everything was good, and I didn’t hear anything unusual; we got through without any problems at all. Very crucial, so everything is well.

After Salah scored two goals against Everton to record his 200th career league goal, Klopp was also all praise for the player. The German has no doubt that the attacker will consistently stand up and perform in front of goal for his team, even though he acknowledged the Egyptian was not at his best in the derby.

He remarked, “I think Mo Salah played for us an incredible amount of fantastic games, and that’s what I love most about Mo.” Although he didn’t play at his best today, his ability to handle the penalty and the circumstances was perhaps his greatest asset.

He proved to be that once more. You need someone who can push the ball over the edge. That is a fact that I greatly admire. That is very exceptional.

“The figures are absurd. He has no intention of stopping. He is that way by nature, which is extremely awesome for us.
