A supercomputer has projected the top four teams in the Premier League, leaving Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Chelsea out.

A supercomputer predicts that Tottenham will overtake Manchester United, Chelsea, and Newcastle for a spot in the top four as a result of their subpar Premier League starts.

A supercomputer has predicted that Manchester United and Chelsea would place outside the top four.

Only four games into the Premier League season, but measurements and algorithms are already being used to forecast how the May final standings will look. Champions Manchester City’s quest for a fourth straight Premier League championship is off to a strong start.

Tottenham, on the other hand, has shown early promise under Ange Postecoglou and, despite losing Harry Kane, has been backed by an Opta supercomputer to finish in the Champions League spots. United and Chelsea, on the other hand, have underwhelmed, losing on two occasions already.

The likelihood that a particular club will place in the top four has been determined. Liverpool is not far behind City with a 91.11 percent likelihood of finishing in the top four, who have won their opening four games.

The runners-up from the previous season, Arsenal, have lost two points in their first four games and have an 82.43 percent chance of making the Champions League the following year. After that, there is a noticeable decline even though Tottenham is expected to win the match.

A 31.68% possibility of the north Londoners placing in the top four. They are now just slightly behind Manchester United, whose own problems have been highlighted by losses against Tottenham and Arsenal. Newcastle had a modest but difficult start to the season, winning one and dropping their first four contests.

This is reflected in their top four percentage, with Newcastle having the seventh-best chance of replicating its Champions League qualification from previous season (16.69%). Brighton has been given a stronger chance of placing in the top four despite losing some important players over the summer.

The unfortunate fact that Chelsea is the 11th least likely side to place in the top four is the bad news. West Ham, Aston Villa, and Brentford have all been given a stronger chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season as Mauricio Pochettino settles into his new position in west London.

On August 12, the Premier League season will start. For a special 18-month rate, you can subscribe right now and watch every Premier League game during the 2023–2024 campaign.

The Blues are more likely to qualify for the Europa League than the Champions League, according to Opta’s model. The number of English clubs allocated seats at Europe’s top table may change this season, but it will depend on how well they do. In the future, the team that placed fifth can be given a berth in the Champions League.
