I Can’t Quit is Trevoh Chalobah’s response after being dismissed from the team by Mauricio Pochettino.
Trevoh Chalobah, a defender for Chelsea, has reportedly been deemed surplus to requirements by new manager Mauricio Pochettino, according to reports released today.
The 24-year-old has been sidelined with a hamstring injury and will make a comeback in late September.
Trevoh Chalobah shared an enigmatic remark on his Instagram page after learning that he will be allowed to depart the club in January.
The academy product was selected by former manager Thomas Tuchel’s squad, but Chalobah has since slipped down the pecking order as a result of Chelsea’s acquisition of Axel Disasi from Monaco, the growth of Levi Colwill, the signing of Badiashile last season, and the absence of Wesley Fofana due to injury.
Despite being put up for sale, the 24-year-old’s initial £50 million asking price was rejected by prospective purchasers.
The deal between the defense and Thomas Tuchel, the Bayern Munich manager who gave Chalobah his Chelsea debut in 2021, did not materialize despite the defender’s eagerness.
Chalobah recently posted a video to his Instagram account with the remark, “Hey God, I ain’t gonna lie man, I’m tired.” I can’t give up now though. Let’s experience whatever it is you want me to. I’ve come too far to give up at this point.
