Harry Maguire scored an own goal during the international encounter on Tuesday night at Hampden Park.

Harry Maguire, a Manchester United player, has made sports headlines despite Gareth Southgate not starting the Three Lions in tonight’s tense British encounter.

England had a 2-0 lead following goals from Phil Foden and Jude Bellingham and appeared to be winning with ease.

But once Maguire took over for Marc Guehi at the break, the center-back was paired with Lewis Dunk of Brighton for the remainder of the contest.

And despite being among the most seasoned players on the field, the former captain of the Red Devils scored an own goal to bring the Tartan Army back into the game when England led 2-1.
