Liverpool and Arsenal Monitoring Rodrygo Amid Uncertainty Over Real Madrid Future
Liverpool and Arsenal are closely watching Rodrygo’s situation at Real Madrid as the Brazilian forward prepares for crucial discussions regarding his future, according to an update from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Rodrygo, who did not feature during the Club World Cup, is reportedly questioning his place under new manager Xabi Alonso. Although his contract runs until 2028, there are mixed opinions within the club about whether to retain him or consider a big-money sale.
Liverpool have already made contact with Rodrygo’s representatives and view him as a potential successor to Luis Díaz, who continues to be linked with Bayern Munich.
The 24-year-old is valued for his flexibility across the front line and his high-level experience, making him a strong fit for Liverpool’s evolving attack.

Much now hinges on the outcome of his discussions with the club. Though he isn’t actively pushing for an exit, a transfer could materialize quickly if Madrid cannot assure him of regular playing time.
