Former Premier League striker Glenn Murray has offered his perspective on Marcus Rashford’s current struggles at Manchester United, suggesting that leaving the club could provide much-needed relief for the under-pressure forward.
Despite being fit and available, Rashford has been excluded from Ruben Amorim’s last three matchday squads, with the manager citing concerns over his standards and effort.

Although Rashford’s £300,000-a-week wages might limit his options, interest has already emerged from Premier League clubs and European giants like PSG, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund.
While there have been rumors of a move to Saudi Arabia, Rashford is reportedly uninterested in heading to the Middle East at this stage of his career. Instead, he seems focused on finding a club where he can revive his form and enjoy his football again.
Meanwhile, former United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen has criticized Noussair Mazraoui’s performance in Manchester United’s recent 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth.
After conceding a penalty, Mazraoui was called out by Owen for poor decision-making. “He should have stayed on his feet and guided the opponent away rather than diving in,” Owen said, labeling the play as “stupid.”
Owen’s comments underscore ongoing concerns about Manchester United’s defensive issues, which have been evident in recent matches.
