Manchester United fans angrily demanded Erik ten Hag’s dismissal during their 3-0 defeat to Tottenham.

The Red Devils endured a dreadful first half, with Brennan Johnson scoring from a Mickey van de Ven cross within the opening three minutes.

To make matters worse, Bruno Fernandes was shown a red card for a reckless challenge on James Maddison.

Spurs continued their dominance in the second half, with Dejan Kulusevski scoring early on, further adding to United’s woes, as away fans chanted “you’re getting sacked in the morning” at Ten Hag.

Dominic Solanke later added a third goal, cementing Tottenham’s control in a match where they recorded the highest xG (4.67) of any visiting team in Premier League history at Old Trafford.

Before the second half even started, some United fans had already voiced their frustration with Ten Hag, calling for his sacking.

One fan stated, “We’re always getting bullied on the pitch. We need a dark arts coach. We need to start playing dirty too. Ten Hag OUT!”

Another angry supporter added, “He gets the players he wants but has no game plan. He makes easy games look difficult, and good players seem worse under him.

It’s just press talks and blacklisting players. Get Erik Ten Hag out of Manchester United.”

Another fan criticized the team’s lack of discipline, saying, “They’re running around like headless chickens. They don’t know their roles or positions. It’s time for him to go.”

One supporter questioned whether Erik ten Hag could turn things around at Old Trafford, asking, “When do we say enough is enough? If you still believe in him, when and how is he supposed to fix this?”

Gary Neville harshly criticized United’s first-half performance, calling it “disgraceful,” one of the worst displays under ten Hag. He was particularly critical of Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes.

On Fernandes, Neville said, “When players react like that, something is going on. He went knee-high on Maddison. He may have slipped, but he won’t escape punishment.”

As the match ended, Neville doubled down, calling the first half “disgusting” in terms of effort, quality, and overall performance, adding that both the players and manager would face tough questions in the coming week.

Former United winger Ashley Young also criticized the team post-match, stating, “Manchester United didn’t show any commitment.

No effort, no work rate, no leadership. The team was disjointed, with individuals all over the place, and no one stepped up to take control.”

He emphasized how comfortable Tottenham were, noting, “It felt like Spurs were the home team. United fans have every right to be disappointed.”

Jamie Redknapp added his concerns, calling it “so easy” for Spurs, with United going backwards under ten Hag. He stated, “There are no more excuses.

He’s got his players and defense in place. They are at rock bottom, and I’ve never seen a United side this bad. It’s embarrassing for a club of their stature to be outworked like this.”
