There were rumors at the end of last season that Inter Milan wanted to keep Alexis Sanchez. Despite his strong performance in the latter part of the year, this did not materialize.
Alexis scored two goals and provided five assists in Serie A last season, all in the second half. His last contribution was assisting Denzel Dumfries’ late equalizer in Inter’s final home game.
Questions remain about whether Sanchez, now 35, still has what it takes to compete at the top level.
He is reportedly considering an offer from Udinese, where he played earlier in his career before moving to Barcelona.
Sanchez had also discussed a potential return to Arsenal with manager Mikel Arteta before rejoining Inter Milan. Now a free agent, he is weighing his options.
