“I have tried my best to convince him, but his mind is already made. He has decided to leave Liverpool this summer,” confirmed Liverpool manager Arne Slot, announcing that the £50 million star has departed Anfield to join a surprising Saudi Arabian club.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot has yet to make a new signing in this summer’s transfer window, while their Premier League rivals have been active in the market.

Despite all major Premier League clubs securing new signings, Liverpool is still weighing their options.

One Liverpool star facing an uncertain future is Mohamed Salah, who has entered the final year of his contract.

His departure at the end of next season seems increasingly likely. Salah, with 211 goals, has been crucial to Liverpool’s success over the past five years.

However, journalist Ian Doyle from the Liverpool Echo reports that Salah is expected to leave the club next season, with Saudi Arabia being his most probable destination.

Doyle writes that while Salah has maintained his form, his age and the Premier League’s intensity are factors.

Liverpool’s search for a wide forward this summer suggests they are preparing for life after Salah.

Though fans might hope for another contract extension, it appears the club is beginning to accept that Salah’s time at Anfield may be coming to an end.

Salah has played a key role in Liverpool’s Premier League and Champions League victories, making his potential departure hard for fans to accept.

The club must now plan for a future without their prolific goal scorer.

Replacing Salah will be challenging, given his unique contributions and record at the club.

Additionally, Virgil Van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold are also in the final year of their contracts, and Liverpool seems more focused on extending their deals than Salah’s.
