Despite ongoing rumors about a transfer to Real Madrid, Erling Haaland’s agency has confirmed that the striker is “1,000%” committed to Manchester City.
Since joining in 2022, Haaland has made a significant impact, helping City win the Premier League twice and the Champions League, contributing to an impressive treble in his debut season. At just 23, Haaland has already played for five different clubs.
Since Mino Raiola’s death in 2022, Haaland has been represented by Rafaela Pimenta, known for incorporating release clauses in player contracts. Although details of Haaland’s release clause are confidential, Pimenta emphasized that they are not currently considering a future transfer.
In an interview with Flashscore, Pimenta discussed Haaland’s current situation and future prospects, stating, “He is 1,000% dedicated to the City project and is already looking forward to the upcoming season with the club.”
She also highlighted Haaland’s value, estimating him to be worth around €1 billion (£850 million) due to his age, growth potential, and economic impact.
Pimenta noted that this figure reflects his overall value, not his transfer worth, considering his contributions on and off the field, including jersey sales and media exposure.
Haaland is contracted with Manchester City until 2027. While he recently mentioned enjoying his time at City, he remained noncommittal about extending his contract, saying, “I have three years remaining, and I’ve enjoyed two amazing years. That’s basically all I can say.”
This statement confirms that Haaland has no immediate plans to leave Manchester City and is focused on continuing his successful stint with the club.
