Liverpool legends and pundits have strongly criticized the team after their disappointing defeat to Galatasaray S.K. in Istanbul. The performance left many fans frustrated as the Reds struggled to control the match and made several costly mistakes.

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher was particularly critical of one player’s display. He claimed the player made around 14 mistakes during the match and said that kind of performance is unacceptable for a club of Liverpool’s level.

Carragher added that the defender looked aggressive at times but was not smart defensively, which created more problems for the team instead of helping them stay organized.

The criticism did not stop there. Another well-known reporter described the performance as one of the worst he has seen in a Liverpool shirt, saying the repeated errors allowed Galatasaray to dominate important moments of the game.

Meanwhile, club legend Steven Gerrard also shared his frustration with the current state of Liverpool F.C.. Gerrard said the team looks like a shadow of the side fans are used to seeing.

According to him, players are struggling with simple passes, missing clear chances, and failing to track back when defending.

Gerrard even called out two players directly, saying they lack passion, drive, and hunger. He suggested that if their attitude does not change, they should consider leaving the club.

The reactions from former players and pundits reflect the anger among supporters, many of whom believe the performance was far below the standards expected at Liverpool.

Fans are now calling for improvements and possible changes to the squad after such a disappointing night in Europe.
