Liverpool winger Luis Diaz is reportedly attracting interest from Barcelona for a potential move this summer.
As per a SPORT report, Barcelona is keen on recruiting the 27-year-old Colombian, who is also interested in joining the Spanish side.
However, Liverpool is expected to put up a strong resistance to any potential transfer, making the outcome uncertain.
Diaz has been a key player for Liverpool this season, contributing 13 goals and four assists across all competitions.
With Liverpool already in search of a quality replacement for departing manager Jurgen Klopp, losing Diaz would be a blow to the team’s strength.
Capable of playing on either wing, Diaz’s skill in taking on defenders and creating chances could make him a valuable addition to Barcelona’s attack.
With Diaz contracted to Liverpool until 2027, the club is not under immediate pressure to sell.
If Barcelona pursues the transfer, Liverpool is likely to demand a high transfer fee, possibly reminiscent of the substantial amount Barcelona paid for Philippe Coutinho a few years ago.
