Casemiro is reportedly mulling over a move away from Manchester United during the upcoming January transfer window.
As per a recent report by Marca, the Brazilian midfielder has been presented with a substantial offer from a club in Saudi Arabia’s Pro League.
Expected to be one of the prominent players departing Old Trafford amid plans for a major squad overhaul led by Erik ten Hag and incoming shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Casemiro, formerly of Real Madrid, currently holds the position of the highest earner at Manchester United, earning £350,000 per week (according to Spotrac), which could limit his options for a mid-season move.
Nevertheless, there’s significant interest in his services from the lucrative Pro League. Marca indicates that Casemiro is actively contemplating the offer, considering a potential change in scenery.
However, uncertainty surrounds whether the unnamed Saudi club can meet Manchester United’s demands.
Having spent his initial 18 months at Old Trafford, Casemiro, with a contract still running for up to three-and-a-half years, has accumulated a record of 11 goals and seven assists in 63 appearances across all competitions.
